Orchestra in the Schools-All Saints' Day School Location (Carmel)
“Outstanding Small Group Instruction and Large Group Performance Opportunities"

All Saints’ is proud to host the Orchestra in the Schools (OITS) program every Monday after school. Orchestra in the Schools provides students from throughout Monterey County an opportunity to learn an instrument, be a part of an orchestra, and perform with students from other schools. Orchestra in the Schools is known for its outstanding small group instrumental instruction, and students, parents, and lovers of music always look forward to the two concerts performed annually in Coats Hall at All Saints’ a Christmas concert during the first week of December and a spring concert in May.

OITS makes instrumental music available to all interested students from Monterey Bay Area public, independent, and home schools. No auditions are needed for 4th through 8th graders. Younger students are admitted at the discretion of the Music Director, Jim Paoletti. Classes are held on Mondays during the school year from 4:00 - 6:15 pm at All Saints’ Day School.

Orchestra in the Schools II-International School of Monterey Location (Seaside)

OITS are expanding to a new site at

International School of Monterey (ISM)* beginning Tuesday, November 6^th, 2012. The new program will be called Orchestra in the Schools II and will offer Beginning Band, Beginning Strings, Intermediate Orchestra, Beginning Guitar, and Jazz Improvisation.

Tuition is $500 for the school year (20 two-hour lessons) or $290 per semester. Online registration and an information flyer are available from the right side-bar of this website or onsite at ISM on Tuesday, November 6 at 3:45 pm. Orchestral instruments will be made available for loan during registration. The last day for beginners to register is Tuesday, November 27 (advanced students may join later at the Music Director’s discretion). Scholarships are available and space is limited.
